You can also claim an additional deduction of up to Rs. 25,000 (Rs. 50,000 for senior citizens) for health insurance premiums paid for your parents.

3. Section 80E: This section allows you to claim deductions on the interest paid on education loans for yourself, your spouse, or your children. The deduction can be claimed for a maximum of eight years.
